Apex Legends is one of the most popular games in the gaming market.

It has a large player base, which keeps on increasing every day!

When a player plays it, several questions come to the player's mind.

One of the most common questions that comes to most players' minds is regarding the internet data usage of Apex Legends.

So, how much internet data does Apex Legends use?

On average, Apex Legends uses somewhere around 100 to 250 MB of internet data per hour which is almost on par with games like Valorant.

The data used by the game in one hour might fluctuate. But, it generally stays under 300 MB.

However, at times, Apex Legends uses more than 300 MB of internet data.

Moreover, using voice chat in the game paves the way for more data consumption.

In this article, I've answered this question in more detail.

I've also answered a related question that is quite common among the Apex Legends players.

So, without any further ado, let's get into it!

Internet Data Usage of Apex Legends

To find how much internet data the game actually uses, I did some research.

I asked all of my friends who played Apex Legends to keep an eye on its data usage while playing.

Meanwhile, I also did the same.

All of us played the game for one hour and then, recorded its data usage.

I found out that the data used by the game in one hour on the different devices was in the range of 120 to 260 MB.

But, in most of the devices, it was around 190 MB.

Therefore, we can conclude that the internet data usage of Apex Legends is around 190 MB per hour.

From here, we can calculate the data usage of the game in one week, one month, or even more!

If one plays the game for one hour every day in one week, the internet data used by the game in one week would be around 1.29 GB.

Similarly, if one plays Apex Legends for one hour every day for one month, the total internet data used by the game would be around 5.56 GB in one month.

Now, what is the data usage per match in Apex Legends?

In Apex Legends, each match consumes around 50 to 150 MB of internet data.

At times, the game uses more than 150 MB per match.

Moreover, using voice chat during the match would lead to higher data consumption.

In such a case, the data usage per match in the game might be around or more than 160 MB.

You might now want to know about the data used by Apex Legends according to the time for which you have played the game!

To help you with that, I've prepared a table.

I've also done all the required math so that you don't have to do so!

Following is the required table:

Playtime per day Data usage per day Data usage per week Data usage per month
1 hour 190 MB 1.29 GB 5.56 GB
2 hours 380 MB 2.59 GB 11.13 GB
3 hours 570 MB 3.89 GB 16.69 GB
4 hours 760 MB 5.19 GB 22.26 GB
5 hours 950 MB 6.49 GB 27.83 GB
6 hours 1.11 GB 7.79 GB 33.39 GB
7 hours 1.29 GB 9.09 GB 38.96 GB

Note: The internet data usage of Apex Legends in the above table has been taken as 190 MB per hour.

Does Apex Legends use a LOT of Internet data?

Compared to other online games available in the market, Apex Legends relatively uses a slightly higher amount of internet data (around 190 MB per hour).

Conclusion

I've also answered a related question that is quite common among the players who play the game.
