When a player starts playing the game, numerous questions come to the player's mind.

One of the most common questions revolves around finding the player tag in the game.

Player tag is a tag which is unique to every player playing the game.

So, how to find your player tag in Clash of Clans?

Simply put, tap on the blue icon containing your current XP level in the game, present at the top-left of the screen.

The player profile opens up and you can find your player tag which is located right below your name (near the left side of your profile).

Method #1: Finding your player tag in the game itself.

This is the easiest and quickest method to find your player tag in Clash of Clans.

The steps are as follows:

Step-1: Open Clash of Clans.

The most fundamental step in this method is to open the game first.

Otherwise, you would not be able to use this method.

Step-2: Tap on the blue-colored icon containing your current XP level, present at the top-left of the screen.

There is a blue-colored icon at the top-left of the screen that contains your XP level.

When you tap on that icon, your player profile would show up.

Step-3: Check the tag present below your name in your player profile.

In the above picture, the required tag is circled.

You would find a combination of letters and numbers below your name in the profile.

That particular combination is your required player tag.

You can memorize it or copy and paste it somewhere for future requirements.

The second method does not require you to open the Clash of Clans game for finding the player tag.

Method #2: Finding your player tag using Clash of Stats.

For this particular method, we would use the Clash of Stats website.

You must remember the name of your COC account, for this step.

Firstly, you need to go to the website of Clash of Stats for finding the required tag.

Step-2: Type your username in the search bar.

After you go to the site, you need to type the name of your COC account in the search bar.

Step-3: Find the correct account appearing in the suggestions.

Once you find the correct account with your name in the search suggestions, click/tap on it.

Then, you would be redirected to a page where you can see all the stats of your COC account along with your player tag.

Step-4: Check the player tag and note it down.
